Hull City Council Quality Assured Sports Coaching Providers


The Coaching Provider Network includes coaching organisations that have achieved the minimum operating standards (MOS) required to be on the Hull CC Quality Assured Sports Coaching Register. This register is sent out to all Hull City Council relevant Service Areas e.g. Education including Primary & Secondary, Leisure including all Leisure centres and Youth etc

Those MOS include insurance, DBS (formerly CRB), company or self employment number, NGB qualifications for the sport coached, first aid, safeguarding and policies for child protection, equality, health & safety and coaches code of conduct.

Active Humber has clarified that all providers have public liability insurance cover in place. It remains the responsibility of the school and/or employing body to check that the cover in place meets he needs of the particular activity for which the provider is being engaged to deliver.

East Riding Minimum Operating Standards Accredited Businesses

This list has been collated to help put you in touch with Sports Businesses who meet the East Riding Sport, Play & Arts Service's Minimum Operating Standards (ERMOS).

Only Sports Businesses that are registered with the Sport, Play & Arts Service are shown on this list below (sport order) and should be used by schools and leisure centres when (making private bookings, providing coaching sessions to young people and handing out publicity material). Please also see attached a list of all coaches that have been disclosed by the provider. Any coaches that do not appear on this list have not been checked by our Service and should not be used by the school/leisure centre.

The information is packaged based on where you are in your business journey. A knowledge centre provides information and links for new business starters.
