Was there someone you looked up to or inspired you to coach when you were younger?

No it was only in my adult hood. When I was younger all I wanted to do was play.

What do you enjoy most about your role as a coach/ instructor?

Watching those I coach progress and get more confident in playing whilst enjoying and the social aspect.

What would you say to someone thinking about becoming a coach?

Do it, if you are passionate about your sport and want others to gain from your experience, this is one way of putting something back into the sport.

Have you overcome any barriers to get into coaching? If so, what and how have you done this?

The only trouble is learning to say no. I just love being involved in netbal whether it be umpiring, coaching or organising tournaments. I want netball to become a recognised sport
