East Riding SSP (west)
The East Riding SSP (West) brings together half the schools in East Riding to develop PE and School sport. The offer teachers training courses, whole school training, one to one support and guidance, school resources and coaching in schools.
The School Sport Partnership (East)
The School Sport Partnership is committed to providing an inclusive, varied and high-quality PE and school sport experience. The partnership offers support with a range of participation and competitive opportunities that feed directly into the school games. The partnership also offers teachers a selection of training courses, whole school training one to one support and guidance, school resources, coaching in schools and additional events for both pupils and staff.
Hull Active Schools (formerly known as the Hull School Sport Strategic Group)
Is a body made up of individuals and organisations that work together to support high quality PE, competition and physical activity within Hull Schools. Originally formed following the conclusion of Hull's two School Sports Partnerships, this body worked to manage competition for main stream and special schools.
More recently, membership of the Hull Active Schools committee has grown to include Primary Head Teachers, Secondary PE Leads and Special School representatives. It's scope has also expanded considerably to include, coordination of CPD for school staff and targeted support around health and wellbeing. Providing a valuable city-wide approach, the body includes representation from the Youth Sport Trust, Active Humber & Hull Public Health, whilst being driven by the cities two School Games Organisers Mark Arridge and Alex Sherwood.
Hull Active Schools offers an extensive package of opportunities to schools that supports whole school improvement, whilst cultivating fantastic outcomes for children and young people across the city.
Get Ahead Partnership
The Get Ahead Partnership offers a wide range of programmes to schools in North Lincolnshire to raise the profile of P.E, school port and physical activity. Specific programmes to tackle childhood obesity and emotional wellbeing are also available.
