Quad Kids

Schools from across the Humber battled for first place in this year's School Games Quad Kids event on 27th June.

Taking place at Costello, the competitions saw teams compete in both track and field events throughout the day. Over 400 athletes competed in sprint races, long-distance races, relays, vortex throw, long jump and standing long jump.

Jo McDonald, School Games Manager for Active Humber said "It was amazing to see so many talented athletes from across the Humber compete in the Quad Kids finals on Wednesday. Children from age 7 to 15 from both mainstream and special schools showed great determination in their categories and some very high temperatures to win the coveted title of Humber Champions.
